Reports

Build and save reports across your CRM data using prebuilt templates or a custom builder.

Reports are in beta. The set of templates and the custom builder may change before general release. Subscribe to the Informly changelog for updates.

Reports turn your CRM data into the numbers you need for forecasting, planning, and team check-ins. You can start from a prebuilt template or build a report from scratch, then save it and share it with the rest of your team.

Go to CRM → Reports to see every report your organization has saved.

Prebuilt templates

The fastest way to get a useful report is to start from a template. The library covers the reports most teams need:

TemplateWhat it shows
Pipeline forecastProjected revenue by stage, weighted by stage probability.
Conversion funnelHow many deals move from each stage to the next.
Team performanceDeals closed, tasks completed, and activity per owner.
Deal agingHow long deals have been sitting in their current stage.

Open a template, tweak the filters or date range, and save it as your own.

The custom report builder

When a template doesn't fit, build a report from scratch.

Pick the record type

Choose what you want to report on: accounts, deals, tasks, or contacts.

Choose a metric

Pick a metric: count of records, sum of a number field, average, or conversion rate between two stages.

Group by

Group the metric by a dimension — stage, owner, a custom field, or one of the standard fields.

Set the date range

Pick the time window the report covers. You can also leave it open-ended.

Save

Name the report and choose whether to keep it private or share it. Shared reports show up in every CRM user's reports list.

Export

Every report has an Export to CSV button. Use it when you want the raw rows in a spreadsheet for further analysis or to drop into a slide deck.

Scheduled email delivery for reports is on the roadmap. Until it ships, the most reliable workflow is to export to CSV after the numbers settle each week.

Tips

  • For forecasting to work well, set sensible stage probabilities in Pipelines. The forecast template multiplies deal value by stage probability.
  • Group by a custom field when the standard dimensions don't match the way your team thinks about the business.
  • Date range matters more than people expect — a "team performance" report over the last 7 days tells a very different story than one over the last 90.
