Trial
Every new Informly organization gets a 14-day free trial on the chosen plan, with no credit card required to start.
The trial is how you get to know Informly before paying anything. You get 14 days, full access to your selected plan, and you don't have to enter a card to start. This page covers what's included, what happens when the trial ends, and how to extend it if you need more time.
How the trial works
When you create a new organization through onboarding, Informly starts a 14-day trial on the plan you picked during signup. The clock starts immediately.
| What | How it works during the trial |
|---|---|
| Access | Full access to everything on the chosen plan. |
| Credit card | Not required to start. |
| Limits | The same quotas as the paid version of the plan. |
| Data | Anything you create — documents, widgets, conversations — stays after the trial ends. |
You can see how many days you have left from the trial banner at the top of every page and from Billing → Plan.
What to do during the trial
The trial is short. Use it to test the things that matter to your team.
Ingest real documents
Upload the documents you actually want the AI to answer from, not test PDFs. Retrieval quality depends on real content.
Build a real widget
Configure a widget with a persona that fits your brand, and embed it on a staging page if you can.
Talk to it
Send the staging page to a few teammates and have them ask realistic questions. Check the results in Insights → Conversations.
Look at cost
Check Insights → Cost toward the end of week two. The number tells you whether the plan you picked actually fits your usage.
When the trial ends
On day 14, Informly asks you to add a payment method and confirm the plan. You have two paths.
Add a card and confirm the plan. Billing starts immediately and you keep full access. The first charge covers the upcoming month (or year, if you picked annual).
If you don't add a card, your organization moves to read-only access. You can still sign in and view your data, but you can't create new documents, run new conversations, or change configuration. Existing widgets keep running for a short grace period before they pause. See Usage limits for the exact behavior.
Read-only is reversible. Add a card whenever you're ready and access returns immediately.
Extending the trial
Need more time? Contact Informly support before the trial expires and ask for an extension. We review extensions case by case, so reach out early — don't wait until day 14.
Trials don't auto-extend. If you don't act, the organization drops to read-only on day 15.
